WORCESTER, Mass. — The Assumption football team is coming off a bye week so they have had extra time to prepare for and get pumped for their home opener Friday, Sept. 27 against Post at 6:30 p.m.

"Playing under the lights is awesome," said LB Owen Fitzgerald. "We had one under the lights at Kutztown and that was a cool experience. But it's been a while since we played under the lights so it's always fun when we get to do it."

"It's felt like an eternity since we had a home game," said DB Dion Kuinlan. "For it to be on Friday night is really special, having our friends and family there, it's going to be huge for us and we're all really excited."
