WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross football team lost one of the most productive running backs in program history, Jordan Fuller, last week with a season ending injury.

Fuller, a pre-season All-American and a captain, wiill be missed on both fronts.

"Anytime you lose a a player and a person the caliber of Jordan Fuller, it's going to be a difficult loss," said Head Coach Dan Curran. "And we're certainly going to feel that for the rest of the season. And it's not only going to be one guy that's going to replace not only his production but his leadership and type of influence he has in that locker room. You need multiple guys to step up."

Fuller was Mr. Touchdown for Holy Cross his first three seasons, but he also was a great teacher and leader for the other running backs.

"His work ethic is like no other," said RB Jayden Clerveaux. "He was coming out in the spring and the fall, and he was hurt but he was still pushing himself every practice. Learning the work ethic from him (first) and the running back stuff second, it meant everything coming from him. He will out work everybody. I learned a lot from him."

Holy Cross hosts Yale on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. You can see it live on Spectrum News 1.
