WORCESTER, Mass. - The WooSox celebrated a big milestone after selling 500,000 tickets for the 2024 season.

They're the only team among all 120 in Minor League Baseball to sell half of a million tickets three years in a row.

The WooSox have identified fans from all 50 states, with the six New England states topping the list.

Team president Dr. Charles Steinberg said the team is always evolving to keep up with what fans want.

"What we like to do is come up with new things, fresh things, innovative things, things that address areas that might have wrinkles that need to be ironed," said Dr. Steinberg. “And there’s always something new that you can improve upon and we love that. We have been working on 2025, planning of what is new and different and fresh for people of all ages."

A family from Marlborough bought the 500,00th ticket over the weekend.
