WORCESTER, Mass. — The Assumption football team is a few days into preseason training camp, and the Hounds are bringing the juice as they are all fired up to be back together on the field playing again.

"I'm very excited for camp, I've been looking forward to it all year," said WR Quinn Sieger. "I stayed up here all summer, trying to get the chemistry down and building relationships for this fall. All the guys are super stoked. It's about playing fast and physical, playing for one team-oriented goal."

"It's super exciting. We have beautiful weather, just back playing football," said C Matthew Connolly. "The whole team, the energy has been great, energy's been high and I think we're just carrying that through. Super excited to be out here."

"Nothing better than the first day back in pads," said CB Jaron Wilson. "Coming back here and enjoying it. We've got young kids we have to bring up so, just bring everybody along with us, that's pretty much what it is."

Assumption opens up on the road at Kutztown on Sept. 5.
