WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester native Stephen Nedoroscik is preparing for the 2024 Olympic games in Paris.

Nedoroscik will compete in the pommel horse for Team USA in gymnastics.

Nedoroscik has worked his entire life to realize this dream, and he's pumped to compete and represent the U.S. 

"I mean, I am beyond excited," said Nedoroscik. "It's a dream come true. Growing up, you're always looking at the Olympians, thinking, 'dang, I want to be there one day.' Now I'm in that position, where I am an Olympian. I think last week was a week of celebration. Like, I did it, I made this dream come true. This week, I've been in the gym, and it's been a different story. It's like, OK, we have an opportuinity ahead of us, let's go for the team medal, let's go for the individual medal."

Nedoroscik leaves Thursday for France.
