WORCESTER, Mass. — Tatnuck beat Vernon Hill 9-2 on Monday night as the teams come down the home stretch of the regular season.
Dale Nussey went 6 and 2/3 on the mound for Tatnuck, getting the win.
He had 8 strikeouts and didn't allow an earned run, while at the plate Nussey had 2 RBI to help his own cause.
Nick Sharry and Chris Palermo each had 2 RBI as well.
Tatnuck is having a great season and is in position to be the #1 seed in the playoffs.
"Our season's going pretty well, only three losses," said Tatnuck pitcher Nigel Cross. “We've been playing strong as a team putting the bat on the ball, making plays in the field."
