WORCESTER, Mass. — A ribbon cutting Tuesday night celebrated new office space in Downtown Worcester.

Venture X Worcester celebrated the opening of its new location on Front Street.

They offer flexible workspaces, like private offices, virtual offices and meeting rooms. They have 63 private offices and so far, nearly 30% are already rented out. They've rented out space to large and small companies, start-ups, and non-profits.

They said it's a great time for people to be working in Worcester.

“Worcester is going through a renaissance right now, thanks to many people that are in this room, from the city officials, to the Chamber, to the WBDC, and Chip Norton and Franklin Realty Advisors,” said Nicole Wolanski, the president and CEO of Venture X Worcester. “They have spent so much time, money and effort, you know, reinventing Downtown Worcester. And so for us, we saw it as a perfect opportunity to come here because this is where people want to be right now. The, you know, they have the meds, the eds, and the  start-up community and you have the biotech coming in as well. And you know what? Everybody is looking for a turn-key business solution that is, you know, hassle free and flexible. So for us, it's been a great fit and there's no better location than the Mercantile for that. And we're filling up quick, which is beautiful. So, there's such a need in Worcester and we're happy to fulfill that need."

They call it a 'business in a box.’ Spaces are fully furnished and include electricity and security.

Venture X is nationwide and international. They have two other Massachusetts locations, in Marlborough and Holyoke.
