NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - An investigation is underway in Northborough after a 16 year-old was shot and killed early Sunday morning.

A Northborough police officer was flagged down around 1 a.m., and was told a gun had been brandished at a home on Howard Street, according to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office.

Upon arrival, police said gunshots could be heard inside, and they soon discovered hundreds of people on the property. Two victims were suffering from gunshot wounds.

"They entered what can only be described as a chaotic scene," Worcester County DA Joseph Early said.

A 17-year-old was brought to Marlborough Hospital where he was treated and released. Other victims had visible injuries but declined medical attention.

Three adults were arrested and face gun-related charges. They will be arraigned at Westborough District Court on Monday.
