WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross football team is hosting Lafayette Saturday at Fitton Field in their penultimate home game of the season.

It's also parents weekend, so it will be a special day for the Crusaders, one the players look forward to and savor.

"Oh for sure I try to take in every moment of my life as much as possible," said safety Hugh Kelly. "I love Fitton Field. It's just so epic seeing the ring of honor, seeing all the names, Crusaders of the past, what we're playing for, what we represent. So it's special to be on Fitton, I love the stadium, I love the grass."

"It's exciting to be back, it's good to be back for sure," said guard Eric Schon. "Especially family weekend, get mom, dad and the sister down there. It will be good to be on our home field again. Football's a game you know you're days are numbered, and you just have to take every day you get to go out on the field and tie those cleats up, it's a blessing."

Saturday's kicks off at 1 p.m., with the live broadcast available on Spectrum News 1.
