WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross football team lost a tough game to a very talented Harvard team Saturday at Polar Park.
After every game, the Crusaders watch the film on Sunday. It doesn't matter if it's their best game or worst game, after Sunday it's over and behind them and the mantra will be "get better."
The Crusaders are always pushing each other to get better in all aspects, whether it's the classroom, the weight room, the film room or the practice field.
"The work ethic is unbelievable," said center Christo Kelly. "Everyone just makes everyone better. You're in the weight room, you're out here practicing and you see everybody giving it their all and it just gives you a little bit more. Feeding off each other's energy, feeding off each other's work ethic is what makes great teams great, and lucky for us, that's the standard, that's what we're doing now."
"The work ethic on this team is amazing," said cornerback Malik Scott. "I've never been around a team that loves to come out here every day and give it their all. Every day it starts in the classroom to the weight room to here on the field. The work ethic is second to none, I think it shows on Saturdays."
This Crusaders will look to bounce back Saturday on the road at Bucknell in a Patriot League clash.
