WORCESTER, Mass. – College football will return to Polar Park this fall when the Holy Cross Crusaders host the Harvard Crimson on Sept. 30.

The 3rd annual EBW Football Classic will transform the ballpark into a football field once again. A big crowd is expected the two in-state rivals are among the most successful college football programs in New England.

“I think this is unbelievable for the community,” said Holy Cross head coach Bob Chesney. “To watch everybody be in these boxes and watch everybody be in these stands the past couple years, it was very impressive. We’re really proud to be able to unite and sort of have this as our home away from home.”

“We’re really looking forward to the opportunity to play here again,” said Holy Cross linebacker and team captain Jacob Dobbs. “It’s been fun the last few times we’ve played here, but having another premier program in New England, I think it’s really exciting for the community.”

The Crusaders beat Harvard last year on their way to an undefeated regular season. Tickets for the game go on sale July 25.
