WORCESTER, Mass. - The City of Worcester officially rolled out its 311 mobile app Tuesday.

The city said 311 serves as resident's one-stop resource for all non-emergency questions. People can submit online service requests 24/7, including about trash and recycling, streets and sidewalks, nuisances and complaints and trees.

"I got the app right here and it says 1553 issues fixed all the time,” Mayor Joe Petty said. “This will be an issue where people can track their complaints. You can come in, you can download pictures, you can see where it is in the complaint process and a resolution. You can also sign up for the emergency calls and things like that when you go on the 311 app."

City leaders provided a demonstration of the application and a tour of the call center. The app is available for Worcester residents to download on both iPhone and Android.
