WORCESTER, Mass. - Trust, work ethic, positive attitude, a sense of urgency and attention to detail are all hallmarks of the Holy Cross football program.

For the Crusaders, those traits are built in the weight room during offseason lifting sessions.

"I think the most noteable thing in the weight room that stands out in this team chemistry is that we all do the same thing," said quarterback Matt Sluka. "You see it right here, a group of guys all getting each others backs, all know what everyone is going through."

"In here you have to spot each other and you have to get behind each other when you're working out," said Chris Grautski, the team's director of football strength and Conditioning. "And you need to know that that guys got your back, and that culture starts in here. This is the foundation of it all."

Holy Cross finished up spring practices two weeks ago, so now it's all about conditioning, lifting and doing speed workouts with Grautski.
