WORCESTER, Mass. — The Worcester State Football team was hard at work on the turf recently during spring practice.

This fall will be the third season under Head Coach Adam Peloquin, and he likes the steps the program is taking every day.

"We're half way through now, it's been a great opportunity for us to get back with the guys and get our feet under us for the fall," said Peloquin. "That's what spring's all about for us, fundamentals and getting back into football shape as best we can. It's been a great productive eight practices so far."

Spring football is also a chance for Peloquin and his staff to instill their culture in the program.

"The first thing we tried to do here was not necessarily win a football game here, but win in the locker room," said Peloquin. "And we've done a solid job of creating a positive culture that these players want to be a part of. And now I'm hoping that that can translate to the field and continue to build that as we go through the rest of the spring."
