SPENCER, Mass. - The David Prouty boys basketball team beat Pacific Rim Charter 95-65 on Wednesday night in the state playoffs. 

The Panthers used a balanced scoring attack and suffocating defense to earn the victory which sends them into the quarterfinal round. David Prouty had four players score in double figures, led by Braeden White and Alec Fournier, who each had 20 points. Cam Hoekstra had 19 points and J.J. Neiray added 14. 

David Prouty hosts Roxbury Prep Charter at 4 p.m. Saturday in the quarterfinals.
