WORCESTER, Mass. - It was a busy night of high school and college basketball in central Massachusetts Wednesday night.

The Nipmuc girls basketball team beat St. Paul 52-35. Nipmuc was led by Alexa Gibson, who scored 26 points, and Paige Anderson, who had 8 points. St. Paul was led by Gwen Marcotte, who had 12 points. Nipmuc improved to 14-3 on the season, while St. Paul fell to 3-15. 

Meanwhile, Bo Montgomery hit a jumper at the buzzer to lift Holy Cross over Boston University 71-69. Montgomery had 16 points and Joe Octave had 18 points for the Crusaders. Holy Cross improved their record to 10-18, and B.U. is now 12-16 on the year.
