WORCESTER, Mass. - Monster Jam returns to the DCU Center this weekend, providing an action-packed start to the February school break.
The dirt is down in the arena and the 12,000 lb. trucks are lined up and ready to roll. The show is set to feature competitions of speed and skill, including freestyle, donuts and racing.
Monster Jam driver Bernard Lyght has been driving for six years and said there's nothing like it.
"They're going to see us racing," Lyght said. "We're going to be doing two-wheel skills, any trick that we can do to put the truck on two wheels, the front two wheels or the back two wheels. After that, we actually have some freestyle motocross guys who do their thing during halftime.
"Then we go into donuts, which is my personal favorite, just whipping the trucks around the best way we can and just making a lot of noise. We have a lot going on and a lot of things that will keep fans on the edge of their seat."
Monster Jam opens Friday night, followed by two shows on Saturday and one final show Sunday afternoon.
