NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Northborough police are still looking for missing 15-year-old Michael Davis Jr.
Police said Michael was last seen on Main Street in Northborough the evening of February 9. Michael is describes as six feet tall with a slender build and red hair. Police said he has health conditions and there is concern for his wellbeing.
Police have received some information and believe he may by in the Worcester or Boston area. They've shared his picture and information across social media in an effort to aid in the search.
"It's really amazing what social media can do in the positive ways for something like this," said Northborough Police Lieutenant Brian Griffin. "Clearly, it does generate some tips. We've also received some info he was possibly seen in the Boston area, so have followed up on that lead.
"We did spend yesterday in Boston following on that lead and looking into some areas where he was seen. That was actually the Back Bay train station, so we are working with transit police as well."
Police said while they don't think Michael was abducted, they believe someone may have helped him leave the area. Anyone with any information is asked to call 911 or the Northborough Police Department.
