WORCESTER, Mass. - There's a new plan for the City of Worcester and its future. The Worcester "Now Next" plan highlights the city's vision for the next 10 years.

The plan details where the city would like to be in terms of housing, transportation and economic opportunity. The vision reflects the hopes of thousands of Worcester residents.

The Worcester Now Next committee has been gathering their input for the last eight months. Now, they've put together a plan that will serve as the guiding principles for the upcoming years.

"This is about what they want," said community organizer Guillermo Creamer Jr. "This isn't about what businesses want or what realtors want, this is about what the residents of Worcester want. The vision statement very much relates to what the public has told us, what the public has talked about. The vision statement very much includes inclusive language. We want to make sure that all residents feel they are apart of this mission because that is what it is. "

The vision isn't complete just yet. The Worcester Now Next committee is still asking residents to fill out a survey to help them draft some goals, which can be found here
