There was plenty of action Tuesday in the semifinals of the boys soccer and field hockey state tournaments.

The Sutton boys soccer team beat Douglas in the Division 5 tournament with a 1-0 in double overtime. Justin Cao scored the game winner setting off a wild celebration with the players running over to the stands to celebrate with their friends and classmates.

In the other Division 5 semifinal, Bromfield beat Gardner 4-1, with Brendan Listzwan scoring three goals for the Trojans. Bromfield, the defending state champions, are making their fifth straight trip to the state finals. 

In field hockey, Shrewsbury lost a heart breaker to Andover 2-1 in the Division 1 state semifinals, ending a great season for the Colonials.
