WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross honored 31 seniors and their families as the Crusaders celebrated Senior Day at Fitton Field Saturday.

Holy Cross (10-0) got out to a 22-0 start over Bryant (3-7), and stalled a second half push by the Bulldogs to win 36-29. The Crusaders had 470 total yards of offense, thanks in large part to senior running back Peter Oliver and junior quarterback Matthew Sluka. Oliver rushed for a season-high 140 yards and scored two touchdowns. While Sluka ran for 72 yards and completed 12-of-21 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

Senior kicker Derek Ng broke his own record for longest field goal in Holy Cross history. He hit a 52-yard FG with 3:48 left to play in the second quarter.

The team remains undefeated. Head Coach Bob Chesney said he's happy with the win, but said his team is just scratching the surface of their potential.

"We just have to continue to put it together," said Chesney. "There's some good run-stopping defense and then the pass defense. It's being able to be balanced and being able to try to put your best game out there, put your best game on the field. We really haven't done that yet, in my opinion. I think in all of our opinions. Complimentary football is what we've been playing, but we want to play great football in all three phases. We still have a lot of work to do to attain that."

The Crusaders travel to Georgetown Saturday for their final game of the regular season.
