WORCESTER, Mass. - Worcester boxer Jamaine Ortiz steps into the ring Saturday night at Madison Square Garden for the biggest fight of his career. Ortiz is taking on Vasiliy Lomachenko, considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world.

Ortiz learned the sport of boxing and fell in love with it at the Worcester Boys and Girls Club, learning from the legendary Carlos Garcia. Ortiz is proud to represent the Boys and Girls Club, Worcester, Doherty High School as well as New England and beyond.
