WORCESTER, Mass. — Voters cast their ballots at the Senior Center in Worcester Sunday afternoon.

Anyone registered to vote can go to early voting locations across the state until Friday, Nov. 4.

Staff at the Senior Center polling location say 157 people voted Saturday.

As of Sunday afternoon, staff said they had over 130.

“A little disappointing because this is day two of early voting, and of course we’re doing early voting for two weeks,” Election Warden Lisa Thomas said. “So it gives anyone the opportunity to come and vote. I would encourage anybody who has the opportunity within this time frame to go online to the city of Worcester’s election website. It has the various locations, and the designated days and times. It’ll make it a little more convenient for you, so on election day you’re not pressured on that day to make sure you make it to that location.”

Thomas said people who voted earlier say they were pleased with the option.

Other locations for early voting this week include the Living Word Church of Worcester, the Unitarian Universalist Church, Stearns Tavern, and the Worcester Public Library.

In Western Massachusetts, early voting will be held at the city halls in both Chicopee and Pittsfield.

Voters can also vote by mail. The deadline to request a mail in ballot is Tuesday, Nov. 1 by 5 p.m.
