WORCESTER, Mass. - Former Worcester Bravehearts pitcher Aaron Civale will be the Cleveland Guardians' starting pitcher Monday night in a win-or-go-home ALDS Game 5 against the New York Yankees.
Civale pitched for the Bravehearts back in 2014 and he was named a Future's League all star. Civale was drafted by Cleveland in the 3rd round in 2016 and made his major league debut in 2019 with members of the Bravehearts front office in attendance.
During the regular season, Civale had a 5-6 record and a 4.92 ERA in 97 innings.
