WORCESTER, Mass. - Four artists painted a 100 foot mural near Polar Park depicting the key moments in modern Red Sox history, most notably the 2004 playoffs.
It features David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia, Pedro Martinez and Dave Roberts.
"It feels really good to not only have this great location that’s super visible right here in this developing part of Worcester, but also connecting with my roots like playing baseball as a kid, watching the Red Sox, just something that connects with everyone” said artist Ryan Gardell, who is also the creative director of Artifakt Studios. “I feel like this mural is artwork relatable to anybody who is a sports fan."
Ryan Gardell also painted another mural for Polar Park and the Legends of Canal District mural on Summit Street.
