WORCESTER, Mass. - It's been 22 years since Molly Bish went missing and her family believes not enough has been done to find the person who killed her.

Molly's sister, Heather, sent a letter to the Massachusetts District Attorneys Association asking for the case to be moved from Worcester County to Hampden County.

Molly disappeared from her lifeguard post in Warren in 2000. Her body was found three years later in Hampden County. Since then, Heather said her family has offered ideas the DA's office could use with the evidence, but it hasn't been done.

"There were times when we've asked them to work with the national center, we've asked them to work with the FBI and produce some behavior analysis on Molly and the person who could have done this to Molly," Heather said. "Most recently, I asked them to consult with some DNA experts. I thought this would be helpful for them, as my undestanding is we have minimal evidence for testing and the evidence we have is very old.

"I felt it was important to have the best minds. I do think there are thing we can take from our different fields of experience and utilize them to move forward."

In a statement, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said in part, "This case and all unresolved homicides are a priority for our office. We understand that this is a grieving family and that their pain will never go away.

"While our office and all District Attorney’s offices work to keep families informed, we are unfortunately not able to accommodate every request for information. In order to maintain the integrity of the investigation, the State Police cannot always release all relevant information."
