WORCESTER, Mass. - Worcester Restaurant Week is back and in its second week of the Summer Edition.

More than 40 restaurants in and around Worcester are participating this year. They're all offering special three-course meals for $28.22.

O’Connor’s Restaurant is offering six different appetizers, six desserts, and eight entrees as part of their restaurant week. They said it gives people a chance to get out in hot weather and not have to cook.

“It's a good value and they get a full meal and a lot of people have made an occasion of it” said Brendan O’Connor. “We're here for restaurant week, and that's just what we in the city need this time of the year when everybody is trending towards the seashore of the lakes. And we're happy to provide this value, and hopefully people will come out and enjoy it.”

Brendan and Claire O’Connor officially sold the business to the Maxwell family. They plan on staying on board until the new team is comfortable on their own.

Restaurant week runs through Saturday, August 13.
