WORCESTER, Mass. — A dangerous intersection in Worcester is now the home to a four-way stop sign.
The intersection at Heard and Clover Streets has been an issue for years.
Last year, crews surveyed the intersection saying 900 cars traveled through there during the afternoon rush hour. Peak hourly traffic reached nearly 350 cars.
DPW Commissioner Jay Fink had recommended turning the intersection of clover and heard streets into a four-way stop back in November — now it’s a reality.
