A Worcester musician is recovering. Police say he was attacked and beaten by four teens in Boston last week.

20-year-old Adam Neufell is the drummer for the Worcester-based band, Young Other.

Boston Police said the four teens, all minors, are being summonsed to court. They’ll be charged with assault and battery.

Police said the teens randomly assaulted Neufell. The incident was caught on camera by witnesses.

Band mate Dale Belliveau said Neufell was outside South Station looking at a map with his girlfriend when the men jumped out of a grey Toyota 4Runner and yelled at him to “get a haircut.”

One suspect punched Neufell before the others joined the attack.

“Adam is the youngest in the band. He’s like our little brother,” said Belliveau. “We care about him beyond belief. We love him. He’s such a positive, uplifting person every single day and to see him so defenseless on the ground it crushes us because everywhere we go we all look after each other and to see that is heartbreaking.”

Neufell suffered a concussion, broken nose, and bruising in and around his body.

Young Other was about to go on tour, but has had to cancel shows.
