WORCESTER, Mass. - It's championship weekend for high school sports and the diamond at Fitton Field in Worcester saw a great matchup Saturday.

Hopedale and Mount Greylock Regional squared off in the Division 5 State Final.

Top seeded Hopedale got a great performance from senior Will Parker who threw a complete-game a no-hitter.

But the Mounties were able to capitalize on some earlier errors.

In the bottom of the 7th inning, Mount Greylock's Anthony Welch got under the pop up in left field to seal the final out for a 3-1 win for Mount Greylock, crowning them the MIAA Division 5 Baseball State Champions.

"This has been something we've worked for the entire year. We're all extremely grateful to be here, we were all pumped up to get out on the field today," Mount Greylock senior pitcher Jack Cangelosi said. "Anything's possible with this team, we showed that today. We weren't satisfied with Western Mass and we finished our food today. That's what big dogs do and I'm really proud of everyone on this team and I'm so thankful for all the fans, so thankful for all the coaches. It was just the right group of people at the right time and we pulled it off."

It was quite the finish for Mount Greylock who closed out the season in style winning their last eight games for their first baseball championship in school history.
