We are well into the time of year when drivers are spotting more and more wildlife on the road.

The Hubbardston Fire Department posted a video to Twitter about crews stopping to let a black bear cub cross the road on Route 68.

Mass Wildlife said it's breeding and nesting season for a lot of animals, making them more active.

They recommend taking it slower than normal and keeping an eye out behind the wheel.

If you do come across animals on or near the road, Mass Wildlife said to slowly break as soon as you can to give the cars behind you enough time to do the same.
