WORCESTER, Mass. - MassDOT is proposing adding two roundabouts in Worcester, intended to improve traffic control and roadway design.

They would construct the proposed roundabouts at the intersection of May Street and Chandler Street and would include median islands, curbing and landscaping.

The project will also include upgraded pedestrian crosswalks, and transit and cycling lanes. They expect the project to cost $5.4 million dollars.

MassDOT is hosting a public meeting to present the project which will take place virtually on June 15 at 6:30 p.m. To register for the meeting, click here.
