When the NFL Draft concluded, former Shepherd Hill and Boston College star Alec Lindstrom’s phone and his agent’s phone started blowing up.

Lindstrom had several NFL teams trying to get him to sign with them as a free agent. In the end, it came down to the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins.

Lindstrom narrowed the list down to the Cowboys and Vikings, before choosing the Cowboys after talking with his former high school teammate Sean McKeon who plays tight end for Dallas, and talking to his brother Chris, who plays guard for the Atlanta Falcons.

All of this happened in about five minutes and Lindstrom tells Kevin Shea it was hectic, but he is happy with his choice and ready to go.
