WORCESTER, Mass. - Showing the community what the Blackstone Valley has to offer was the goal of the region's Chamber of Commerce on Saturday.
More than 80 small businesses set up inside Northbridge High School for the Chamber of Commerce's 22nd annual expo.
The businesses displayed their unique services and products.
The day also featured a chowder festival and live music.
Saturday was the first time in two years the expo was held in person as a result of the pandemic.
The Chamber of Commerce says the Blackstone Valley is rebounding from the pandemic.
"We’re hoping that someone or everyone meets a service or a business or has an experience that they haven’t had before here in the Valley," Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Jeannie Hebert said. "And they book a service or find something that can really help them to help these businesses grow and thrive and the community to grow as well."
Hebert says they had more than 2,000 people stop by and take part in the expo.
She says there is still American Rescue Plan Funding available and hopes businesses at the expo were able to take advantage of it.
