WORCESTER, Mass. - A Christmas tree is back up on the Common in downtown Worcester.

The tree was reassembled for a movie shoot scheduled to start on Saturday.

Crews confirmed scenes for the movie "The Hodovers" starring Paul Giamatti will be shot in Worcester, weather permitting.

According to IMDB.com, the movie is about a universally disliked teacher, played by Giamatti, his trouble-making 15-year-old student, and the school's African American cook, who recently lost her son in Vietnam.

The movie is set in 1970 and the group spends the holidays together.

Filming is expected to start Saturday afternoon and continue through the night until early Sunday morning.
