WORCESTER, Mass. - Starting Tuesday, a new visitor policy is in place at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

UMass Memorial Health updated its policy to allow one adult visitor per patient.  The change comes following a rise in COVID-19 hospitalizations.

Umass Memorial Health says putting restrictions in place, limits the number of people that staff and patients are exposed to. 

Visiting hours are between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., seven days a week. All visitors must wear a mask at all times
