WORCESTER, Mass. - Local artist Mark Waitkus is known for his spectacular work capturing some of the Boston Red Sox iconic moments at Fenway Park.

Waitkus has also captured on his canvas some Central Mass. landmarks. Recently at a private party at George's Coney Island, he unveiled his Coney Island collection in honor of the 100 year anniversary of the Worcester landmark.

Waitkus' painting will hang throughout the famous hot dog restaurant.  He also showed off his Worcester Red Sox collection that he just finished.

Kevin Shea talked to the artist and the owner of Coney Island, Kathryn Tsandikos, about what the art means to them.
