MILLBURY, Mass. - L.L.Bean is set to open a new brick-and-mortar store in Millbury on Friday, October 22. 

The store opening marks the eighth L.L.Bean retail location to open in Massachusetts and the second L.L.Bean store to open in the U.S. in 2021.

The approximately 15,000-square-foot store will open at The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley .

The new L.L.Bean location will employ approximately 50 team members.

“As we continue to expand our footprint in the U.S., we look forward to opening our newest retail store in Massachusetts, where we have experienced significant interest from our customers,” said Greg Elder, Chief Retail Officer at L.L.Bean. “The new L.L.Bean location at The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley will feature a wide assortment of L.L.Bean goods to ensure we’re able to equip our Massachusetts customers for outdoor adventures for many years to come.”

As part of the opening celebration, L.L.Bean will contribute $10,000 to the Town of Millbury Trails Committee for trail maintenance and development throughout the community.
