WORCESTER, Mass. - Someone is smiling a little more in the Worcester area these days after winning $100,000 on a Mass Cash Ticket.

The winning ticket was sold at Bennie's Cafe on East Mountain Street.

Owner Jay Melick said he's happy it's one of his customers.

He said they have a dedicated person working their keno machine and they do a lot of lottery business.

“I’m just happy one of our patrons won it because we have the best patrons, I would say, in the city of Worcester. We’re a very busy Keno bar, lottery bar, so I was ecstatic when I found out someone won here," Melick said. "I don't know who it is, but god bless them."

He said in his eight years as owner, the only other big winner he remembers was $25,000 dollars.
