NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - A bike rodeo in Northbridge on Sunday hoped to teach young kids how to stay safe while on their bicycles and scooters.
Northbridge Cub Scouts Pack 150 put on the rodeo for kids in the community.
The typical age range for cub scouts is between five years old and roughly 11 years old. This year was their first time putting it on.
Teaching kids lessons like the importance of wearing a helmet at all times, how to safely maneuver the bike, as well as how to properly turn and use hand signals.
Pack 150 hopes to host the rodeo again. The scouts also hold a popcorn fundraiser each year.
On Sunday, the top 12 sellers who sold more than $100 worth were able to throw a pie in their Cub master’s face.
