WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Red Sox have announced their 2022 schedule.
The schedule is a 144-game slate, including 72 home games at Polar Park. The season will open April 5, 2022 for a six-game series in Jacksonville, Fla. against the Jumbo Shrimp, the AAA-affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
The WooSox will play their home opener at Polar Park on Tuesday, April 12 against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the AAA-affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
The 2022 season will end on the first day of fall, Wednesday, Sept. 21 at home versus the Syracuse Mets.
The WooSox will play the Durham Bulls, Toledo Mud Hens and the Charlotte Knights for the first time at home. They'll also play Norfolk and Jacksonville for the first time on the road.
