SHREWSBURY, Mass. - The St. John's football team officially joins the Catholic Conference and begins play this fall. 

For football, the Catholic Conference is the toughest conference in the state. Every team is a powerhouse with rosters loaded with talent and huge kids. 

For the Pioneers, it's a big step up, but as our Kevin Shea tells us, it's a step they are looking forward to taking.
