WORCESTER, Mass. - A temporary ban on jet skis and other personal watercraft on Indian Lake in Worcester goes into effect on Wednesday.

The city council approved the ban during last week's meeting.  It will remain in effect until Sept. 2022. 

Enforcement will be a coordinated effort between the Worcester Police Department and the Massachusetts Environmental Police.

People who violate the ban may be fined.
