SHREWSBURY, Mass. - People of all ages were out on the water Tuesday thanks to an adaptive water skiing event on Lake Quinsigamond.
The “Any Age, Any Disability” water skiing event took place at the Donahue Rowing Center in Shrewsbury.
The event gave kids and adults with disabilities a chance to try water skiing with trained instructors. For some, it was their first time.
People were able to use sit skis, with adjustable cages and outriggers, and took turns going around Lake Quinsigamond.
The event was hosted by the Webster Water Ski Collective, the Leaps of Faith Skiers and the Lake Quinsigamond Water Ski Club.
