WORCESTER, Mass. - A restored 1940's diner owned by the WooSox Foundation is moved to its permanent location in Worcester.

The Sherwood Diner was being restored in another location before moving to Summit Street. The diner is one of 650 diners made by the Worcester Lunch Cart Company. Fewer than 100 are still around today.

The diner itself will not be a place to sit down and grab a bite to eat, but rather serve as the headquarters for the WooSox Foundation. It will house information on all of the charities and non-profits the foundation works with, as well as serve as a broadcast booth.
