LANCASTER, Mass. - It's the 138th celebration of the Bolton Fair this year and families took part in the small town tradition all weekend.

The fair is held at the Lancaster fairgrounds. It features animals, games, rides, local vendors and more.

The fair began in 1874 and typically attracts thousands of people.

After being postponed last year because of the pandemic, fairgoers were happy to be back out having a great time.

“It's been so fun to see people out and about, smiling, having fun, enjoying the rides, the food - the food’s been great - the animals. Just getting back out there, you know?,” Dianna Larocque, a fairgoer, said. “It’s nice to see.”

The Bolton Fair committee thanked the more than 100 volunteers who made the town tradition possible.
