WORCESTER, Mass. – Saint Vincent Hospital announced they made their last and final proposal to striking nurses in a statement on Thursday.
The hospital said this is their best offer. It includes an investment in nursing staff, additional workplace safety measures and offers wage increases and benefits. The final proposal comes as nurses have spent more than 150 days on the picket line, calling for safer staffing in the hospital.
The hospital closed some of its services this week as a result of the hundreds of nurse still on strike.
