Local vendors showcased their products at a small market in West Boylston Saturday.
Next Level Church opened their West Boylston location in 2019. Now their pastor says they are happy to be able to bring people together through a community market.
In addition to fresh produce, Next Level Church is welcoming vendors that offer handmade products, works of art and local services.
Anticipating a decent weekly turnout, the church plans to double the amount of vendors for their second week as more community members add to the market.
“When people come out, more programs will happen and people will get to know each other," said Recreational Director Sharon Emond. "I think it takes a village, especially with our children out here. It takes a village for everybody to know each other, and to become involved is the number one most important thing to me.”
“So, this is the West Boylston Community Market," said Next Level's Pastor, Bryan Levangie. "It’s specifically named the community market because it’s more than just farmers. We have a wide variety of merchants that are coming here, and we wanted to just continually say we love West Boylston. We love our community and so, whatever we can do to support it, that’s what we’re here for.”
The market will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. until October.
