WORCESTER, Mass. - Off The Rails will offer Southern cuisine from a scratch kitchen, and a number cocktails with a Southern flair.
The restaurant also features a stage, where they will host live musical performances daily. Managing partner of Off The Rails, Chris Besaw, says he wanted to bring something different to the city.
"The whole idea here is trying to bring a little bit of Nashville to Worcester, bring that Nashville feel to Worcester," Besaw said." We feel like country music is a genre that's lacking in this area and we want to bring it to the city."
"A lot of people who want to get out and want to get back to life and start having some fun again," said Executive Chef of Off the Rails, Rick Araujo. "We're more than excited to give them a venue to do that.”
Opening day will be this Saturday, July 17. Country music artist Timmy Brown will perform starting at 6 p.m. Phase two of the project will feature a music venue and beer garden, set to open in the fall.
Off the Rails is located on Commercial Street behind the DCU Center.
