WORCESTER, Mass. - The Friendly House in Worcester received a special donation on Thursday.

The organization says a generous donor donated gaming systems he refurbished for children in their shelter and after school program.

The donations included PlayStation, Nintendo Wii, Xbox and Sega consoles.

Elias Pizarro grew up in Worcester and says he wanted to help out his community.  He collects broken gaming systems, rebuilds them, and donates them to kids in need.

"I reached out to them because I knew they would be able to help me and just coming back and seeing all these kids and the memories,” Pizarro said. “To do a good deed, to do what's really in my heart. It's a beautiful thing to just give back."

Pizarro donated more than a dozen gaming systems.
